Lake Oswego is a community built on relationships. Our activities are designed to help you build those relationships with key City contacts, potential clients and customers as well as your fellow business community members.

We have an open, welcoming community with a walkable Downtown, fun activities, unique shopping opportunities and staggering natural beauty. Lake Oswego boasts natural tree cover over 53 percent of the city, the highest canopy cover in the Portland region for cities our size.

I’ve resided in this community for the past 14 years, yet it wasn’t until I joined the Lake Oswego Chamber that I truly felt connected. The Chamber has transformed this town into more than just the place I live; it’s become a genuine home. Now, whether I’m grabbing coffee at Starbucks or picking up groceries, I’m greeted by familiar faces and warm smiles. The sense of belonging and camaraderie fostered by the Chamber has enriched my experience here beyond measure.

I had two things going against me when I started my podcast production business in May of 2020: I was new to business ownership, and a global pandemic. After floundering alone for a few years, I decided to try out a Lake Oswego Chamber networking event. It was clear after a few minutes I needed to join the Chamber; it provided me with an instant sense of community and within just a few months I gained a couple of leads and a new client.

The Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce is the place to learn and grow within the community. The weekly newsletter and programming keep me up-to-date with what is going on in our city and beyond. Leadership LO, the Mayor’s Breakfast, the Health Fair, weekly networking events and the Candidate Forums are just some examples of where I have been able to plug in to our city and my own personal growth. There is something for everyone!
